Mediation

Mediation is a confidential dispute resolution process involving an independent and impartial mediator, designed to assist parties in resolving commercial, corporate, family, and employment disputes.

Unlike court proceedings, mediation is not aimed at determining a winning or losing party. Instead, it focuses on facilitating a mutually acceptable resolution while preserving long-term business relationships and personal ties wherever possible.

Under Russian law, a notarised settlement agreement reached through mediation is enforceable and has the legal effect of a writ of execution.

Our practice advises both corporate clients and private individuals in matters where litigation may not be the most appropriate course of action due to reputational, commercial, timing, or cost considerations.
